Sports Day
On 19 June 2022, a Sports Day took place at Tooting Bec Athletics Track & Gym. The event was organised by the Czech and Slovak school Okénko in cooperation with the Czech School Without Borders, London.
It started with a ceremonial arrival of both schools’ representatives accompanied by school anthems. The event was attended by 55 little olympians, divided into 5 age categories, who competed in various disciplines. There were also some unconventional disciples, like tug of war or sack race, in which parents took part as well. At the end, the winners of each category were rewarded with gingerbread medals.
