On Monday the 13th of November, representatives from the Czech School Without Borders and the Prague School of Creative Communication had the honour of attending a Czech Veterans Day reception at the Czech embassy in London, hosted by the Defence Attaché Brigadier General Vratislav Beran.

At the event, students from the Prague School of Creative Communication presented their projects to an excited audience of both Czech and British veterans, as well as their descendants. Natalie presented her fantastic interactive digital educational platform whilst Jiří and Terezie treated the audience with their brilliant short film about the life of Czech RAF fighter pilot Josef František. Both projects were received with great enthusiasm from the veteran community, who subsequently engaged in discussions with the students regarding the project. Both respective parties look forward to the further expansion of the commemorative project, as well as the engagement of the Anglo-Czech veteran community.
