On Sunday, 8 June 2025, the athletic tracks at Tooting Bec came alive with excitement and energy. The 4th Sports Olympiad took place, organised by the Czech School without Borders London in collaboration with the Czech and Slovak School Okénko and other community schools.
Athletes of all ages – from toddlers as young as two to their parents, who even had their own competition category – joined in. The day was filled with classic disciplines such as high jump, long throw, relay races, and tug-of-war. The atmosphere buzzed with cheering, laughter, and friendly competition.
The Olympiad was not just about athletic achievements but also about meeting others and sharing the joy of movement. Both children and parents left with medals, memories, and a wonderful sense of togetherness after an afternoon full of sports and fun.
