Neurodiversity at Home and at School
On Monday, 18 May 2026, the first in a series of webinars on adaptive learning took place, focusing on the topic Neurodiversity at Home and at School. The webinar was led by specialist educator Lenka Bittmannová, who addressed the support that the school environment can provide for children with autism. She emphasised, in particular, the importance of structure, noting that adjustments such as a quiet relaxation area or the use of headphones can benefit not only pupils but also teachers.
Lenka was followed by Dr Veronika Machalová, who offered further insights into masking, sleep, and the needs of a child at home after a demanding day at school. The session also included time for questions, with participants expressing considerable interest in further details.
