Mystery Escape Room

​During the summer term, the 5th graders completed an outdoor mystery escape room, in which children successfully convicted a murder suspect by solving the various clues, whilst following the directions and practicing their use of imperative! We followed the route which made a loop between the London Bridge station and the Southwark cathedral, which all the children recognized as being built in the Gothic style! The bravest children even boarded the famous pirate ship, The Golden Hinde, and learned about the renaissance period and the journeys of discovery, following in the footsteps of Sir Francis Drake.
