Christmas Carnival
On Sturday, December 14, our school transformed into a place full of joy, warmth, and holiday spirit thanks to the Christmas Carnival. The entire day was dedicated to creative and festive activities. The children enthusiastically engaged in baking and decorating gingerbread cookies, filling the classrooms with the delightful aroma of fresh holiday treats.
At 1:00 PM, the stage in the large sports hall came alive with a performance by the school choir Citrónky, followed by the debut performance of the dance group DUHA. The children delivered outstanding performances and received well-deserved applause. The afternoon program was enriched by a wide variety of refreshments prepared by parents. The tables were laden with traditional Christmas sweets, savory snacks, and the popular non-alcoholic mulled wine. There was also great interest in the Christmas book market and the opportunity to purchase favorite Czech products from the store Knedliky.
The highlight of the day, however, was the carnival itself. Children and adults alike enjoyed competitions, carol singing accompanied by a band made up of parents and friends of the Czech School, and the first school raffle, which featured beautiful
