Kids Built London in 3D!
On Sunday, 22 June 2025, the Czech Embassy Cinema in London turned into a lively creative workshop for young builders. Over the course of two hours, children aged seven and above tried their hand at creating 3D models of London’s most iconic landmarks. Guided by illustrator and architect Lukáš Novotný, they eagerly explored how to combine imagination with architecture.
The participants didn’t just design individual buildings – together they constructed a giant cityscape that gradually came to life as a playful, colourful version of London. Teamwork and collaboration were key, with each child adding their own piece to the collective masterpiece.
The atmosphere was filled with joy, focus, and laughter. The workshop proved that architecture can be not only a serious discipline but also an exciting and fun way to spark children’s creativity.
