Dasa Kraft

DÁŠA KRAFT/ Founder, Chair

Dasa graduated from Charles University in Prague with a teaching degree before attaining a business degree, which brought her to her current profession – managing education for IBM employees across Europe.She became a CSWB in London parent when the school was first founded. Her older daughter was one of the first graduates of the school and her second daughter, also the graduate, is now in her 2nd year of assisting. Czech language, culture and heritage have always been important to Dasa and she is delighted that her daughters, also thanks to the Czech school, found ways to appreciate them as well. Besides being a Board member Dasa also volunteers in co-running the Czech school choir Citronky.

LUCIE WENIGEROVÁ/ Founder, Member

Lucie is a Bafta-nominated film and TV producer. She is a co-founder of the Czech School Without Borders, London. Lucie has been involved in the organisation’s Board of Governors since its establishment in December 2009 as Chair of Governors (2009-2015), Co-chair (2015-2016) and currently Treasurer (from 2017). In 2016-17 Lucie became the school’s Acting Head.




KAZI CÍSAŘOVÁ/ Treasurer

Kazi was born in Prague and came to the UK as a student in 2005. She completed her professional studies in London and since then has worked as an architect in various practices designing residential, cultural and educational projects.  
Kazi is a mother of two daughters who have attended CSWB since preschool. She believes that a bilingual upbringing is one of the best gifts parents can give their children. Kazi is an enthusiastic runner and practices yoga as much as time allows. 

KLÁRA NAIMANOVÁ/ Secretary

Klára has lived in England for nearly 20 years. After graduating from Prague university with a degree in Finance and Accountancy, her career path shifted towards project management and operations. Klara is passionate about giving back to the Czech community and joined the board of governors at the Czech School Without Borders in late 2023. Her daughter has thrived at the school for the past four years. In her free time, Klara enjoys reading, exploring new destinations through travel, and staying active through exercise.

MAGDA AKSAMITOVÁ/ Member

Magda is a sociologist. She has been living in London since winter 2014.  At Czech School Without Borders she has a little daughter in year 0.  She has joined the board as a governor in 2024 out of her love for the school and Czech community.  When she is not busy doing her research or taking care of her family, she enjoys reading, the arts, and is currently learning how to sew.     

JARMILA KORČÁKOVÁ-SYPECKÁ/ Member

Jarmila graduated from University of Jan Evangelisty Purkyně in Ústí nad Labem with a Masters degree in Environmental sciences. Jarmila came to the UK in 2003 as a Erasmus student and after completing her studies in the Czech Republic she returned in 2004. Since then has worked in the education sector in various roles. Jarmila is the mother of one who attends CSWB. Bilingual education is very important to her. Jarmila is a keen cyclist and loves travelling and outdoor activities.

PETRA PAVLÁSKOVÁ/ Member

Petra comes from Tábor, but moved to the UK in 1998. She graduated from London South Bank University in 2007 and has worked in the charity sector since. Her son has enjoyed attending the Czech School Without Borders since Preschool and they both love its community and the feeling of home away from home CSWB gives them. She is thrilled that she can be part of the Board of Governors team (from Sept 2025) as connection to her Czech roots is very important to her. Petra enjoys being a busy mum, cycling and, when time allows, reading.

ISABELLA KRAFT/ Member

Isabella was born in London and was one of the first graduates of the Czech School Without Borders. After completing her 10-year studies, she continued to attend Saturday sessions as a volunteer teaching assistant in years 2 and 3, also helping out at events like Mikulas. She hopes to use her experience as a student to contribute a unique perspective to the workings of the school. She enjoys teaching bilingual children and is keen to foster a supportive multicultural and multigenerational community through learning and music.  She is currently studying geography at the University of Oxford, while also cooperating with members of Charles University in Prague on a project concerning the return contributions of the Czech diaspora to the Czech Republic. 

SÁRA JAHODOVÁ/ Member

Originally from Prague, Sára studied law in London, earning her LLB from Middlesex University and her LLM in financial and commercial law from King’s College London. She is qualified to practice law in England and Canada, having lived and worked in both London and Toronto. Her legal practice focuses on capital markets and securities law. Sára is passionate about fostering bilingual education and helping children of Czech heritage connect with their linguistic, historical, and cultural heritage. Through her involvement with Czech School Without Borders, London, she is excited to help nurture a new generation confident both in their Czech identity and their place in the wider world.
